According to Hero Electric, these station would serve more than 30,000 passenger daily. The company said in a statements that, with its partner, Hero Electric will add 50 location by the end of this year to cover the western line from Churchgate to Mira Bhayandar.

Hero Electric announces a partnership with battery sharing startups VoltUp & also Adani Electricity to boost electric mobility infrastructure in Mumbai. The company mentioned that through this partnership, VoltUp would establish several smart electrics mobility station throughout the city to provide easy access to battery change. Furthermore, the electric vehicle manufacturer plans to make 500 of these battery swapping station operational in Mumbai in the next two year.

According to Hero Electric, these station would serve more than 30,000 passengers daily. The company said in a statements that, with its partner, Hero Electric will add 50 location by the end of this year to cover the western line from Churchgate to Mira Bhayandar.

Sohinder Gill, CEO of Hero Electric, said the collaboration is the way to strengthen the EV ecosystem in India as it will help deepen EV penetration in India. This partnership with VoltUp, Adani Electricity & Zomato will establish a dense infrastructure that will encourage more passenger to switch to electric vehicles and operate smoothly without worrying about range anxiety issues. Hero Electric is the only manufacturer to have a specific product designed for delivery partner fleets, given the segment’s potential to contribute to a clean and green future, added Gill.

To remind, Hero Electric also decided to partner with Jio bp to strengthen mobility solutions for electric two wheelers. Through this link, Hero Electric customers are expected to gain access to Jio bp’s extensive charging and sharing network, which is also open to other vehicles.

Additionally, both companies will bring the best of their global electrification know-how and apply it to the Indian market to create a differentiated customer experience that delights the consumer.

Currently, Jio-bp is operating its electric vehicle charging and sharing stations under the Jio-bp pulse brand. With the Jio-bp pulse app, customers can easily find nearby stations and charge their electric vehicles. Furthermore, with a vision to be among the largest electric vehicle networks in India, Jio-bp is creating an electric mobility ecosystem that will benefit all stakeholders in the electric vehicle value chain.
