Reliance Jio Lost 36 Lakh Users In 30 Days Even As 15 Lakh New Users Joined Airtel!

Reliance Jio lost around 36 lakh wireless customers in December unsettled to an amalgamation of elements such as the current tariff hikes, SIM merger and plucking out indolent users from the network. Jio is still promoting the JioPhone for Rs 1,999 with a two-year unlimited plan and for Rs 1,499 for one-year unlimited plan. Existing JioPhone users can recharge for Rs 749 for an unlimited one-year plan. JioPhone 2 is obtainable for Rs 2,999.

Reliance Jio president Kiran Thomas said during the company’s Q3 results declaration that an amalgamation of tariffs and the challenging environment around Covid-19 have signified that there has been a lot of junctions on the SIM base.
