Boeing University Innovation Program Now Open to Indian Startup 2022

Boeing India announced on Monday that it has opened the Boeing University Innovation Leadership Development BUILD program for 2022 & invited application from university student and early stage startup in the whole country.

The program aims to encourage young entrepreneurial mind to develop ideas that can be turned into viable commercial offering, aligned with Boeing’s vision of contributing to India strong startup culture.

Boeing has partnered with seven incubators IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Madras, IISC Bangalore, T-Hub Hyderabad, and KIIT Bhubaneshwar. Applicants are invited to submit ideas in the field of mobility, space, connectivity, Industry 4.0 technology, digital business solutions, sustainability, and data analytics/AI.

Shortlisted teams will compete regionally and finalists will present their ideas to subject matter experts at Boeing Innovation Day in February 2023.

Winners will have the opportunity to win cash prizes. Boeing mentors and industry experts will interact and work closely with finalists to refine and suggest ways to turn ideas into viable commercial offerings.

Interested students and entrepreneurs can apply to the BUILD program at www.boeing.co.in build. The deadline for submitting ideas is October 31, 2022.

Application eligibility includes 2022 college graduates, professors, and budding entrepreneurs

College incubators from seven states in India will solicit applications. Shortlisted teams will be mentored by Boeing experts to refine and turn ideas into viable commercial offerings. One winning team from each of the seven university incubators will receive a cash prize worth Rs 10,00,000. (Boeing University )

In 2019, BUILD attracted a record number of entrants with over 850 innovative teams from Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across India.

Boeing India has been helping to contribute to skills and capacity development in the country over the years with other programs like HorizonX India Innovation Challenge and Accelerated Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Apprenticeship as well.
