Flipkart e-commerce giant in India has announced that they will be hiring interns to manage the supply chains in tier 2 cities. As the festive season is coming in India and they have already announced that they are going to create 70000 new jobs for their supply chain.
Flipkart To Hire Students As Interns Ahead Of Big Billion Days Sale
Flipkart is hiring students as an intern for their logistic and supply chain department for 45 days. Students from 21 different locations can take part in this internship program. As Flipkart big billion days are ahead and they get orders in bulk, last year they estimated 22 million orders a day, keeping that thing in mind they decided to hire more interns as order numbers may get high.
Interested students can now grab this opportunity under Flipkart under Flipkart’s Launchpad programme. Under this program, a student can earn up to ₹22,500 with Flipkart within 45 days.
Last year also 2000 students have taken part in Big Billion Days Sale 2019 as well.
In their statement, Flipkart has said “Students from tier-II cities and beyond will get an opportunity to work across key supply chain functions at Flipkart’s facilities across India. Launchpad will help students gain critical skills in supply chain management and create an ecosystem of trained professionals for the e-commerce industry.”
With this programme students from Tier 2 cities will get about Rs.500 daily for 45 days.
According to the statement, “Flipkart is working with educational institutes across 21 locations including Binola (Haryana), Bhiwandi (Maharashtra), Uluberia and Dankuni (West Bengal) and Malur (Karnataka), Medchal (Telangana) and others to identify meritorious students for the program”.
